If it was nothing like everyone says why did FIFA themselves hand him a 2 game suspension, oh yeah that's right because Renaldo winked his eye, lol, I forgot.....lol

He got 2 games because what he did can seriously injure a player, on English fans don't see it I guess, but it was a good call from FIFA

I read in the newspaper what Rooney had to say after seeing the footage.
He said he didn't do nothing (!!) and that Ricardo Carvalho slipped under his foot. (!!)
Oh, yes, Ricardo Carvalho doesn't want to have children anymore or... wait... he wanted to be a woman but didn't have money to do the operation to remove his balls and hoped it had worked that way!!
OK... I have one question: who let Rooney out of the mental institution???!
England is back firing everyone because the English can admit they did a poor, unsportsmanlike game.

Well obviously because FIFA have reviewed the action and have judged that it was deliberate of course. Not sure why people keep banging on about this - the referee has already said that he was going to give a straight red before Ronaldo ran over to him like a little child - so that's that! Rooney maintains his innocence, and my country affiliation aside, he has a case - the Portuguese player tried to tackle from behind, and his momentum carried him into Rooney, who had to put his foot down somewhere - only Rooney truely knows whether it was deliberate or not - he says not, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
And for Pedro St (give it a rest man - Portugal were beaten, just accept it - it's over and done with), Ronaldo was not roundly booed for that one Rooney incident, I mean be serious, do you honestly believe all the fans in the stadium for the semi-final read the English tabloid press and this had such an influence over all those fans that they ganged up against poor little Ronaldo or even that the English fans could have such an influence over the people watching the game(that is so funny that you think that - I am laughing my socks off), of course this is not the case - he was booed because his reputation for cheating is well known and because of his antics throughout the competition, and during the actual game against France - he takes dives to cheat - it is plain to see, and I am sure deep in your heart you know he does so - fans are fed up of cheating in this compeition, and that is why he got booed. As they say what goes around, comes around!
For dflo_rinda - I have glasses thanks - I guess you are suggesting I need new ones.

Michael Owen gave an interview today saying Eriksson was responsible for Rooney's red card, claiming the player was "frustrated" to be playing alone in front. I Would like to see what all those so-called fans that blamed Ronaldo (with a great help from the tabloids) have to say about this.
Because of that injustice, Ronaldo was booed all the time in an important semi-final. He played well nevertheless, but maybe -just maybe - he could have played much better if it wasn't for all those sore losers pushing him...

rooney got a 2 game suspension because he purposefully tried to injure a player. ronaldo winking doesnt change the fact that rooney is still an idiot.

Rooney deserves it, but I think the that alot of the Portugal team should get in trouble too. Almost all of their games have brought trouble, with players diving and confrontations.
