Don't know how old you are, but go ahead, my daughter had hers pierced at 30. Just keep it clean.
I rather have you piercing your belly button instead of eyebrow, lip or tongue. I know now a lot will ask whats wrong with that?
Well it just stands to reason that when you get older and take
the stuff out, you have the holes. And as for the tongue, well
I am not commenting.

I think that belly button rings are hott and so do all the people I know. I was 13 when I got mine pierced.

ummm no it's not trashy i got mine done at like 15 and i'm amost 19 now and still love it. If you don't have a body for it, then come on seriously DON'T get it... b/c gross! IF your too young, same thing, don't get it. like lil 12 year olds doing it... seriously wait till u get older.

As someone said above me ^, they do look trashy if you're young. But if you're young adult (16 - 26, kinda) and have a flattish stomach, they look really nice.

the only nice piercings for females are on their earlobes. nothing more, nothing less. and infant girls look especially adorable with tiny studs on. my sister and i both got our ears pierced when we were babies, and if she or i have daughters, we will do the same for them, no more.

i think younger than 16 looks trashy. if you have a podgy tummy, they look ridiculous because they draw attention towards it. but if you have a flat tummy they can look great.
btw make sure the tummy is a bit tanned.
