Johnny Carson. I've always been a huge fan. Unfortunately, I've mostly only been able to see re-runs of his show since I'm only 22 and he was only in the business for a few more years after I was old enough to remember anything.

I became a broadcasting major because of him. He is such a unique individual. I think he's done better than anyone to ever grace their presense on the Tonight Show including Steve Allen, Jack Paar, and Jay Leno. If I could have met him before he died, I would have been ecstatic!!! He is such an inspiration to comedians, actors, and broadcasters alike. Just a sincerely wonderful and talented man...

I would want to meet Cliff Burton. Cliff Burton was the original bassist for Metallica, but besides that, he was the greatest bass player to EVER live. He wasn't just a bass player, he was an artist. He was well versed in music theory and music construction. If anyone needs proof, they should only listen to Anasthesia (pulling teeth) on the kill 'em all album. Those sounds, no matter what anyone thinks, are coming from a 4-string bass guitar! That, is what made Cliff Burton great!

Lizzie Borden. I'd ask her about that day in August when her father and step mother were murdered. If she did it, if she had help, what it was like living in Fall River at that time in history, and what it was like to go through the trial and then be considered a pariah the rest of her life.

Only one? That makes choosing difficult. I guess, John Kennedy. Maybe Wyatt Earp, John Holiday, or even Ernest Hemmingway.
