Is anyone really scared? Or had a personal experience with one? What did you do?

Why be scared ? the para-normal is intriguing...after all, most religions & spirituality is based on what doesn't meet the eye directly !

Nope... not scared at all. I wonder whether ghosts are scared of people..??

Many years ago I was walking home late one night (and no, I wasn't drunk or stoned). It was a clear night with bright moonlight and you could see quite a long way. I crossed a bridge and saw a guy leaning against the side of the bridge looking into the water.

Being a smart-***, I took a couple of paces and turned to make some clever comment about how did he expect to catch fish without a rod... and he was GONE.
He hadn't passed me, the road was a narrow causeway with water on either side and was clear as for hundreds of yards and there had been no splash so he hadn't jumped in (I checked anyway to make sure).

It was only later that I found that years before a guy had committed suicide by jumping into the water at that very spot.

Ghost? maybe... wish I had said hi before I passed him rather than waiting until afterwards.

No, I'm not scared. As a child, I had imaginary friends as do most kids. In actuality they were ghost playmates, so I have had them around me all my life and they are friends. Ghosts are just people who have passed over into the next dimension, so they no longer have a physical body. Usually they know a lot more than we do because of their experiences which we haven't gone through yet, but remember they are just people like you and me. If you want to get down to it, the people or saints you pray to are actually ghosts. My spirit friends and I have many wonderful discussions over the years and I learn a lot from them. They have always been there for me and their advise and counsel have always seen me through. Next time you think you see a ghost, ask his or her name, get to know them. You might be surprised.

Yeh I did had a personal experience 2 times. Once me and my friends went to explore some haunted place and I was holding the vid. cam, while I was filming the ground as we were walking back home and on the ground I saw like a huge shadow flying & when I hold up the cam there's nothing up there. It was so freaky. And when we got in a lift suddenly it became so dark like as if something was covering on top..

Yes i am. but ghosts, jinn, or the unseen cannot harm us directly. they're not flesh and bones. if they can touch us, then there's no reason why they're called spirits. The only way they can harm us is by using our fear. For example, someone sees a ghost, he runs away, he's too terrified that he doesnt care what might come in front of him. suddenly a car run him over.

so dont be afraid, god is with you.

if i see a ghost, i will turn my head pretending not to see him/her. then i'll go away and keep praying to God.

I've never had an experience with a ghost, but I don't see what there would be about it that should make you afraid. What are they going to do to you? They're dead.
