Star Jones is going through a lot I think. I had been hearing for months now that The View was going to get rid of her. She knew it was coming and so she just went out with a bang. Her husband that she just raved on and on about is obviously gay and everyone knows it too. I feel sorry for her. She did do most of it herself but we are all human and make mistakes sometimes. Barbara Walters is just saving her a** from letting Star act a fool like that again but how would you feel if you knew you were about to get fired from the best job you ever had. People tend to get a little crazy about that.

You know this whole situation is funny to me. I am not a big fan of either of these women but I think Starr needs to get over it and move on. She is a freaking lawyer (supposedly a very good one) is it really that hard to find another job. Second she is already rich and her husband is well off so why is she whining. Lastly, her public image is one of being very rude and nasty, now that she has lost her job she is trying to pretend like she is a sweet little flower that can't stand up for herself, yea right we are buying that!
As for Barbara, this woman has a really good career of interviewing some of the biggest power players in history, why is she belittling herself with this nonsense. She can talk to world leaders about war and peace but she can't sit down with a former co-worker and put an end to this simple feud?
Basically, they are both losing respect by the truckload.

Star Jones treated the public unfairly by expecting everyone else to pay for her wedding.

If Star wanted to leave two days early it was her business and Barbara had no business airing her beef about it. I praise Star for saying goodbye to her fans they way she did or Barbara may not have given her the chance.

No, I think it was a long time in the works and Star knew it all along. My theory is she tried to "one up" Barbara and the girls by being the first to announce it. That's why she jumped in and interupted them in the middle of a conversation that was not even about her. Now, in my opinion, she looks foolish.

When Star lost her weight, HER attitude changed. She is the one who is refusung to work with Rosie O'Donnell. She also doesn't want to admit to gastric- bypass surgery, she should be proud she lost the weight- no matter the means. Randy Jackson from American Idol had it and admitted it. She is just a stuck up snob with a bigger head than her body and SHE did it to herself. It is Barbara's show, not her's.

No. Star Jones seems a bit nutty. Who knows?

I don't watch the View. I don't want to hear a bunch of females sit around yakking. I have to hear enough of that at work.

No. Star was self-serving. And judging by her interviews since she was fired, she hasn't changed much. We may not have heard the last of her, but I can't see her next move being successful.

She should go back to practicing law.
