my last name is appearing after my screen name on at&t messrnger. how do i fix this problem?

send an IM to your self
in the chat windows click on Actions menu
go to Contact Options
select Contact Details
and chang the name and nickname as u want

when typeing in your id, don't type your last name' so u just c your screen name
