The dates the same christmas is still 25th Dec but time differs about a day ahead or behind i think. Seasons are different because of the position of the sun and the earth. A message to other people above, if you cant be nice then dont answer, theres enough crap in the world.

No, the date is the same all over the world, time may be a few hours different. Christmas is 25th December, in Australia that is the middle of their summer, but it is still christmas.

Every land in the Southern Hemisphere has the same dates as the Northern, but the seasons are reversed because of the tilt of the Earth. Australia and New Zealand get more sunlight (hence, summer) when the Northern Hemisphere gets less, in winter.

Their summer is our winter, and vice versa, so they have christmas on the 25th December, (because that is when christmas is), but they have sunny weather - it is their summer.
They still have turkey and stuffing, but the cook it on the barbie and eat it outside, and then go to the beach for a good ole game of charades.

im from new zealand and we are a day ahead 11 hours ahead of uk time for example 12.00 midnight uk time = 11.00 the morning of the next day
