When i plug in my controller to a gamecube, the buttons work but when i turn the wheel, nothing happens in the game! How can i get it to work! HELP!!

As long as the game you are playing is compatible with the wheel function you should be ok. Where you using a racing game? i have heard that not even
all racing games are steering wheel compatible. When all else fails:
