it was just a story with so many characters that were related to each others story, but they didnt know it. I didnt think it was going to be picked best movie of the year, kinda a big letdown. It was about racism, and all that stuff

The first Crash with James Spader and Holly Hunter was a strange tale about people who survive car crashes and suddenly get off to having sex in cars and playing with each other's scars.
The more recent Crash was a montage of car related stories used to illustrate the differences and similarities in society and the interdependency of it's members.
So what was your question?
The first one was good.
The second one was a little too much like Magnolia and 11:14 which have better acting and editing.

I don't know why it won the Oscar for Best Picture. It was just another film. It didn't stand out.
The only reason I saw it was because someone lent me her DVD. I'm glad I didn't pay to see it.

People stereotype, and there is racism in LA. That's what I got from the movie.

it says we're all interconnected and we can't get away from dealing with people we don't want. coz life is like that, we just crash into each other's lives.
