Do they think that their country is just mere dirt? And, please don't refer to Bush saying the constitution is a piece of paper. There is no recording whatsoever of such, except liberal news outlets that make up propaganda.

You have to have a reason and sactity for life in order to respect it in all its forms. People who live only to make themselves happy cant appreciate that thinking.
Same for the flag. Unity means nothing to people who only want happiness, yet dont want to suffer to gain.

I have been a liberal all my life and have never met anyone that thinks that.
Let me go check the Flag that draped my fathers coffin and see if it is just a piece of cloth.
On the same thought you could use this question to find those liberals ans show them that the flag is indeed more than a piece of cloth. At a glance you can see 13 stripes a blue field and 50 stars sewn on from each side. That plus the binding strip on the end with the grommets makes 115 pieces of cloth.

A fetus is a handful of cells, and our flag is a sacred symbol of the greatness of our nation! Liberals don't burn flags, terrorists do! Liberal news outlets? You mean The Daily Show and PBS? A flag IS a piece of cloth; any symbolism is in your mind; that's what a symbol IS. It's fine that you find a particular piece of cloth to be symbolic; just don't use that as an excuse to interfere with other people's lives or curtail their right not to worship pieces of cloth.
On abortion, you just need to learn about the differences between a fetus and a baby.
I don't know anything about Bush and a piece of paper. I don't really care what he says about the Constitution, as long as he follows it.

A liberal's mind set is different from most people. In general liberals think problems are best solved by other people. They often do what "feels" right rather then what "is" right. Many of them don't like consquences and believe they can do whatever they want because its their right. They often think things can be solved quickly with short sighted solutions no willing to take the long path, even when that's the only path that will work.

We can all agree the US flag represents some core rights and responsibilities. I've never been clear at what is being expressed by flag burning, (too general a statment). But I know that I have the responsibility (if I buy into what the flag represents) to fight for their right to non-violent expression including burning the flag.

I've read some of that comments in the Yahoo! Answer, too. "It's just a piece of cloth", said they referring to the question of whether "burning the flag is considered as freedom of speech or an act of treason".
It's just sad of how a liberal mind thinks.

Symbols are for the "symbol-minded". The flag is made out of the same material and any other textile. We only value it's appearence because we've asigned it a meaning (USA, fredom, democracy, ect) If the American people focus on preserving it's status as a symbol of our country, and less about what it stands for, then it's safer to treat it as any other poly-cotton blend. As far as "abortion babies are trash... " it is not trash, it's removed bodily tissue and fluid.

The flag has meaning only as a symbol of our freedom. If the flag burning amendment had passed, the loss of freedom would be far more damaging than the loss of our flag would be. Flags can be replaced, but if we ever allow our govenment to rob us of our right to freely express our opinions, we'll be living in the world's most oppressive totalitarian regime (think George Orwell's 1984) and there'll be nothing we can do about it.

Also, those "babies" are simply fetuses to them, which is why an abortion rights activist will call a baby "it" ...
