It really depends on how much you have to lose and how much you're willing to sacrifice(money wise and food wise). I recently started a weightloss program two months ago through the George Washington University Weight Management Program. I lost 26lbs my first month and another 7 the next. I did a strict protein shake diet the first month, and the next I ate salad and fish. I am now in the third month and I've gotten back on the protein shakes, it's not easy, but it's working. I'm hardly ever hungry. I don't have to exercise in order to keep losing while I'm on just the protein shake, but it's good to burn some energy. Here is there website, even if you're not in the area, Several people that are in the program make a once or twice a month visit to attend. Give them a call.

first, talk to your doctor. Are you slightly overwieght? five pounds? ten? Are you more overweight than the average your age and sex? Are you seriously fat or obese? Be sure that you are not thin and calling yourself fat. Analyis the food you eat. Is it mostly fast food? Are you eating your daily reccomenned serving of veggies, fruits, and vitamins? Cut back on the fattening and sweet food. Eat more oatmeal and veggies. Explore the world of sports. Find out which physical activities you like. Establish a schedule where you exercise for at least an hour a day. Stay loyal to ur schedule. Don't be too extreme. REMEMBER- EAT LESS/EAT HEALTHY. Never give up. Anything is possible.
