Heck, yes. It was very good. The mood was much lighter than in the book. In the book, there was a point where I stopped laughing, and my mouth just hung open in disbelief. There was no such point in the movie. It is funny and well-made. Meryl Streep is incredible; she plays the character coldly, yet so smoothly that you really do want to be her, despite her resemblance to a demon. She draws you in, just as she draws in Anne Hathaway's character. Anne Hathaway also does a good job, subtly letting her superficial transformation into a transformation of character. She lets the world of Runway magazine get to her, but she doesn't lose a certain earnestness that makes her character remain likeable. Underneath it all is a simple desire to succeed which makes the audience forgive her for succumbing to the world of fashion. And, lest we forget, Emily Blunt is a great addition as Miranda's first assistant and loyal disciple. Bottom line: It's good. Go see it.

i have not considered The devil Wears Prada, yet i am going to allow you to understand that The Hangover is one in each and every of my fashionable comedies of all time. it is hilarious, properly-written, and has a surpisingly mysterious plot. Watch the Hangover... it truly is a ought to-watch.

Hope this doesn't spoil your fun, but no. Just by the title I don't recomend watching it. I've never seen it, nor do I want to, nor should everyone else. Just bringing that movie into your home could cause but and strange things to happen. (Demons for instance) Go to the source!!!

Well, I couldn't even get into the book and in my opinion, the book is always better anyway, so I didn't even bother watching it.

my sister-in-law saw it with her husband and SHE SAID: it was ok but the only funny parts were the ones shown on the ad and HE SAID: he really didn't like it too much and THEY BOTH SAID: it was kinda boring

i think it looks terrible i would not go see it but if you think it looks good go. you shouldnt base your entire decision on what other people think cuz you may only like comedies others may only like horrors or dramas.
