I need to know about the cosmetics tht girls use, I mean where should I start if i want to makeup my girlfriend(just for a change). I want a list of daily use cosmetics, plus cosmetics that are especially used when u go out for party or a marriage function.
It would be great to hear from Indian girls and if you can explain how to use these cosmetics. thanks a lot for all or any of the responses

this is something your girlfriend should be looking into and learning to do and if she doesn't want to do it, then you should force her to either.

however, if you want some great tips...regardless of ethnicity, check out this website:

Depends on how much $ you want to spend.

Pricier option: For medium/darker skin tones, I prefer MAC Cosmetics and Bobbi Brown. Both blend well, the undertones (colors that can be seen under/through a person's primary skin color, such as pinks, yellows or green) blen better with darker skin tones, and the selection is great. Most times, their staff's pretty good about helping pick out & apply makeup. Just take a pic with you if you go to their counter, and I'm sure they'd love to help.

Daily use/Wedding: Bobbi Brown (more natural colors)
Parties: MAC - their colors are more varied & unusual.

Less pricey option: If you're on a budget, still get ideas at thOse counters, then try to duplicate them at your local drugstore. Those counters can mock up a color card for you, and you can find the colors elsewhere.

Daily/Parties: L'Oreal or CoverGirl both have good selections.

HTH!

Don't try this by yourself! Take her to a make up counter and get her a makeover by a professional.
