I just like to answer questions about what transgendered means because most people don't know. Just sharing the knowledge, didn't realize I wasn't wanted because I was a breeder...

For the record, I would never object to a gay person answering a question I asked on any part of this Yahoo answers thing...I think everyone has something to contribute. I would hope for the same courtesy.

You caught me! ha, just kidding. I am not gay, but I have no problem with it. The gay question I answered was on the front page and I just followed it. I think you should be happy that straight people are answering these questions. You should know what other homosexuals beliefs are, now you get a better perspective into what the general public's view is. And, NO, the general public's view on homosexuality is not what is portrayed by hollywood and especially not by Fox News. The truth is, most people are apathetic to it. It doesnt affect me, I dont care what you do. Which should be the view of everyone. The only people who should have the ability to question your lifestyle are people whom it directly effects.

I dont look in any particular subject. I just look in Yahoo answers home page which gives questions from every catagory. I only answer questions that I know something about either from personal experience or research or watching others go through a situation. I am not gay, but if I feel that I have something to add to a question that someone asks about being gay, I will answer it.

I'm transgendered, we ride at the back of the bus here, look over your shoulder, dude. :)

If I was gay, I'd have stated so long ago. One of the requirements for gender reassignment is a lack of interest in engaging in homosexual acts or living the gay lifestyle. I've always said we need our own classification here and elsewhere on the net, we're just underfoot here. most questions are about subjects I know little or nothing about, so I don't post.

Going back to the mainstream now, have fun with the Oh-so-str8 fundies, all. ;-)

It's called the freedom of speech. You the gay homosexual have the option to answer straight heterosexual questions as we the straight people have the right to answer Lesbian,Gay, and Transgendered questions. It's the freedom to answer questions and voice our opinion. The First Amendment.

You don't think straight people can be interested in gay rights and issues, just as members of, what they feel should be, a progressive society? Same-sex marriage was legalized in Canada, because straight people chose to fight for it as well. Are you saying they should have just sat back and left homosexuals to fight for it alone? Absolutely not, gay people have rights, just as all other human beings do... and some people, whether straight or gay, choose to fight for the rights of all people. Don't be so closed minded...

I believe your question is a reasonable question, especially given the fact that most of the answers AND questions submitted by our Breeder friends are overtly hostile, rude or filled with dark insinuation. Because of this, I often wonder the same thing as you, "ARE they hiding something?"

Of course this answer doesn't pertain to those straights who are mature, cognitive and .... friendly and supportive! I believe I speak for all of my Gay and Lesbian brothers and sisters when I say, Your presence is ALWAYS welcome!

Some of the gay questions are directed toward straight people. Of course if you scrool through groups and culture the LGBT questions are listed there just like this one.

Hey, I thought Gays and Lesbians wanted to be thought of as 'just folks' and to be included everywhere...then you, meaning you, personally, are trying to pose your questions to a gay only readership.

Can't have it both ways, jacko, either us or an exclusive and private gay website. Sorry 'bout that!

Well that is not a very nice question,
why is it that everyone feels the need to segregate themselves into these tiny little groups. Just because someones straight doesn't mean they can't give relationship advice, or answer any question for that matter. now my question to you is, why did you really even post this question?
