I wouldn't do it personally, but as I have gotten older I am less judgemental. It is easy for ppl to say you shouldn't do that, but they wouldn't be the one raising the child. On the other hand, my oldest brother was adopted and he thanks my mom for not killing him.

The question should be left up to the people involved. They are the ones who have to deal with this for the rest of their lives....abortion or not. They should have the right to choose.

It is very relative to the individual and not to be taken lightly. Think about this, which is better? A child bought into the world to parents or a parent who are irresponsible or do not want a child but it is illegal to have an abortion so have the child, or a parent or parents who have the childs best inerests at heart and know they are not capable of giving a child what it deserves are able to and do abort. Remember, a child does not put up their hand and say, 'hey I want to be born today', parents make that decision and therfore they are responsible to give the child the best possible start and the tools for life.

IT IS NOT OK!!!!! here i want to show u this i found and it made me cry it was so sad...

month 1
Mommy, I am only 8 inches long, but I have all my organs. I love the sound
of your voice. Every time I hear it, I wave my arms and legs. The sound of
your heart beat is my favorite lullaby.

month 2
Mommy, today I learned how to suck my thumb. If you could see me, you could
definitely tell that I am a baby. I'm not big enough to survive outside my
home though. It is so nice and warm in here.

month 3
You know what Mommy, I'm a girl!! I hope that makes you happy. I always want
you to be happy. I don't like it when you cry. You sound so sad. It makes me
sad too, and I cry with you even though you can't hear me.

month 4
Mommy, my hair is starting to grow. It is very short and
fine, but I will
have a lot of it. I spend a lot of my time exercising. I can turn my head
and curl my fingers and toes, and stretch my arms and legs. I am becoming
quite good at it too.

month 5
You went to the doctor today. Mommy, he lied to you. He said that I'm not a
baby. I am a baby Mommy, your baby. I think and feel. I can hear you and I
know I love you. Mommy, what's an abortion?

month 6
I can hear that doctor again. I don't like him. He seems cold and heartless.
Something is intruding my home. The doctor called it a needle. Mommy what is
it? It burns! Please make him stop! I can't get away from it! Mommy!! HELP
me!! Mommy, please make it stop Mommy!! I'm sorry Mommy! Make it stop!
Please make it stop!!!...

month 7
Mommy, I am okay. I am in Jesus's arms. He is holding me. He told
me about
abortion. Why didn't you want me Mommy?

Every Abortion Is Just . . .
One more heart that was stopped. Two more eyes that will never see. Two
more
hands that will never touch. Two more legs that will never run. One more
mouth that will never speak. Repost this if you have a heart and are aganist
Abortion I think abortion is so cruel any1 who can do that is soo heartless.

Abortion is dreadful and sometimes winds up being a horror for all concerned. I would never urge a woman to have one. That being said, I also think it is sometimes necessary. It should be the mother's option to have one in the case of rape, danger to the mother's health, or severe deformation of the fetus.
The eminent physicist Carl Sagan had the best solution. To paraphrase his thoughts, there is a point in fetal development where the fetus becomes indistinguishably human; when that happens, it should be protected and an abortion should not be performed.

i think abortion is not o.k. if they dont want to rase the child then they can give it up for adoption. its the mother's fault that theey got pregnet. it's way better to give the baby up for adoption than killing it. then if the parents dont want it the baby can still live and someone who can have a baby or for watever reasons can adopt it. i have a cousin that had two abortions. but they were both when she was around 14 or so, so she was too young.

For me, I think that abortion is not ok with a couple of exceptions such as risk to the mother at the early stages. With modern medicine in the US, we can keep premes alive at an earlier age than in the past. I do not agree with late term abortions when the baby might be able to live on it's own. I also detest the people who use it as a form of birth control.

There is nothing at all wrong with abortion! If a woman does not want to have a child it is her choice. If for some reason ( god perhaps if he exists ) wanted this child to come into this world the abortion wouldn't work. Don't you think religious nuts

I think it's fine. Right and wrong are gut feelings, animal instincts, not complex logical arguments. They're vague, general guidelines that people take too seriously in arguments. The fact is the consequences of abortion on society are not the same as the murder of an adult. You can even argue it benefits society.

Adoption is more suitable. I'm against abortion because it's just like murder (but their getting away with it) and the baby can't do anything about it.Plus, it was the mum's fault is all happened so they need to take some responsabilty for their own actions and mistakes.(and not use murder for it) and it just sickens me knowing that people are so coldhearted to do that and not even feel any guilt or regret. :( ~shakes head~

Like you, I wouldn't do it personally, but I would never presume to tell another woman what she should or shouldn't do with her own body. And I certainly don't think our legislators should be able to, either! That's what the whole thing is about--giving women a choice. I want to have a choice, even if I choose not to exercise it.
