You can also share a printer with another computer if you set up a local area network through a wireless facilitated modem although the computer to which the printer is connected would also have to be on. You may be able to connect directly wirelessly from your laptop to the printer depending on the type of printer, and facilities of your laptop.

First install the drivers, and then if your printer is network compatible, you could use an Ethernet cable, or you could use the USB cable too.
