There is no such thing as a human being who does not hate!!! It is virtually an impossibility!! (The one exception is described later).

Kids hate greens, other kids, school and all sorts of other things.
Adults tend to hate things from TV shows, too loud music, certain types of people, the works. Most on answers seem to hate anyone who disagrees with them!!!

There is little value in hate but there is a great deal in learning to control and subdue it. It boils down to tolerance.

Racial descrimination legislation recognises that people can and do hate other races to some degree and it recognises there is no crime in that because it is part of the human psyche. What is wrong is to express that hatred or descriminate agains others.

Those that say they do not hate fall under three headings.

Firstly. Those in denial. They do get angry and annoyed at other people, events and so forth and do not recognise that as a form of hatred to be controlled. Just because they start to feel angry and immediately surpress it does not mean they have not started to hate, merely that they have learned well to recognise and control it. Just watch the response to that and see if they do not have hatred!!

Secondly those who either do not recognise their hatred or try and hide from it. These people are a trifle dangerous as the right spark could throw them into a rage.

Lastly there are mental and psychological conditions and also some forms of brain damage that can remove the ability to feel emotion. (The esception I mentioned earlier).

Those that say they do not hate will no doubt tell you they love everyone. If they do not have hate they do not have love.

Hate is in all of us. most of us have learned to recognise and control it. So I suppose you could say there is a little good in hate in that we have to learn to control it and it is the opposite to love and gives our emotions something to measure it by.

They hate because they let themselves be controlled by their emotions. The same as with love. Except there's nothing that can be gained out of hatred, maybe this kind of debate.

I'm human and I don't hate. Beyond that, I think it's easier to use artificial obstacles to avoid learning about others and accept that everyone has the same rights to be whoever they are as the ones who hate them. Tolerance goes a long way.

IT's all boiled down to survival instinct. Us vs. Them. It inspires competition which encourages survival.

Hating your rival can spur you to greater effort and hopefully greater success.

It also inspires action. Cavemen hated being in the dark.

Why do people hate? I think it makes the person who hates feel better about themselves. If he/she has someone to blame for the situation he/she is in, he/she will think it's O.K. to act out or to not take responsiblity for or ownership of his/her actions.
