considering unborn baby may get infected and born defect by viruses or germs that the children attending child care might caried (chicken pox, slap cheek syndrome, etc)?

its actually not recomended.you are right on about the baby catching viruses its better to see if you can get govt help rather than work.
I do not know where you live but here in Canada if your job poses any sort of risk eg school teacher or daycare for diseases or any heavy lifting you will get 70 or 80% of your salary paid for the time you require and this doesn not come off of your 1 year maternity benefits.

the risk of sickness would be like anyother job, same as lifting,bending stretching. More of a common sense judgment. Avoid contact with any kids that are sick and check with your ob-gyn on dangers of your unborn child contracting chicken pox, if possible, while you are carrying. Not sure if your immunity system would protect the unborn child or not.

At your first OB checkup they will usually test your blood for antibodies against the most common risky viruses/diseases. From there you should talk with your doc about the risks involved in your particular situation. I will tell you that there's nothing worse than when you're feeling nauseous yourself and you're having to clean a little one's vomit or icky diaper... Beyond that remember that hand washing is your number one defense!!!

I for one would not work there in the first trimester,why take a chance if you have fears. Plus lol you may get sick of kids before you have yours . good luck
