The minority that this country is pleasing is the extremely wealthy. The 1% of the population that own about half the stock market is being further engorged with wealth as a result of policies of this administration, which is made up, naturally, of extremely wealthy people.

War is very good for the people who control Bechtel, Haliburton, the Carlyle Group, etc (the whole ‘military-industrial complex’), and the oil industry is getting their share too. Thus we have war.

The 98% minority get hurt, even the patriotic “red state” people who actually think that the Cheney-Bush administration has their interests at heart.

first, remember that unless you are descended from the native American Indians, you too are a foreigner. Your family came from another country to this one. That being said, I personally believe that the whole think is a crock of ****. Once you come to this country (legally, of course), you become an American. you are not a minority, or anything else. Who cares what race, creed, sex, religion a person is. American is American. Of course, most people don't agree with that, and use their status to get whatever they can. People know that the system is designed to appease minorities.

Example, and keep in mind that I am not a racist, but can you imagine if there was a "white history month?"

I think that people should just get over themselves and start acting like the grown up adults that they are supposed to be.

1) You are speaking in reference to descendants of, who have
been in this country over 100 years and are citizens of the
U.S.A. Yet, we are being treated as though we are
nonexistent. Corporate America is interested in cheap labor
and the U.S. Government is obliging. Or,

Because the minority, like little children, whine and cry loudly, so the powers that be, do things just to shut them up. You have heard the phrase....the vocal minority.
While they are out theree crying about their insignificant little lives an how we(the majority) are oppressing them...the majority are out ther taking care of real business. There you have it.
