Our Sun is a star of spectral class G2 and luminosity class V. So, when we can say "scientifically" that the Sun is a G2V star

I don't think that the sun has a name per se, although one can use the name Sol for lack of anything better. The general problem with naming the sun is that it isn't part of any constellation, which is how names of star are often generated. Indeed, to some ancient peoples, the sun was considered a planet (wandering star).

I think I read somewhere (maybe an old science book) that the official name of the sun in our system is Sol. I may be wrong though.

I heard a myth saying there are 10 suns out there. sometime if you are lucky you can see 3 but it is quite rare. The suns name is sunshine lolliepops candy lalala i love you.

Sun or Sol. Keep in mind that it is a star...and during the day, our daytime activity is lit by star light...not "Sun" light. Amazing to think about, huh?
