The name of our moon is Moon, spanish Luna. Also was called Luna by the Romans, Selene and Artemis by the Greeks, and many other names in other mythologies.
Other planets moons have their specific names. I think that the thing is that moon became a generic name (like Jacuzzi, aspirin, etc) to call the others planets natural satellites.
