I feel quilty all the time. Im in the military and everyone seems to want things from me. When i go into stores or stop at red lights and homeless people or just people in general ask if i can spare money for whatever reason, usually gas, and i tell them no because it happens on a daily occurance, so yes i feel guilty. I also feel quilty when i see an innoncent person has died, when someone could have did something. There are lots of things i feel guilty about.

It depends at which level you are reffering to. If it be government and democratic opinion then we are always becoming more collective, with time usually implies knowledge because experience is attained. Maybe the question should be rephrased to say "Do we, as a society, express our collective conscience, as much as we should?"

My answer would have to be, when I catch myself being hypocritical. Which I unfortunately do alot. I realize that I have continuous double standard in my life for myself and others that I try to erase. I haven't been very successful so far at it.

Society's collective conscious very rarely allows it to feel regret for it's mob like thinking and decisions no matter the country or culture. It is up to the individual to govern themselves to achieve this and feel guilt and remorse.

Well, due to my lack of trust in people and myself, I feel terribly guilty about lying. I can only do it for a really good purpose... also, if I act mean to someone who is just being nice or did nothing in particular, I immediately try my best to say sorry and convince the person I mean it.

No, yet my Over-achieving buddy makes up for that. She ragged me out in the present day for no longer turning out to be to be a member of honors society... yet i'm already in all honors instructions and that i guard my little brothers a lot, i did no longer have the time or quite the emotion to place into that... nonetheless made me experience undesirable nonetheless. And now i'm working overdue on a great project due Friday (WHY does my English instructor experience the might desire to make it due precise after Halloween? Monday might have been sooo a lot extra helpful for each individual.) and so I easily have a feeling that she would be mad at me approximately that, too. and of course, I easily have a B- in certainly one of my instructions... i'm working puzzling to develop it yet whilst she sees it, i'm executed for.

Yes we do have a collective conscience.

I don't really feel guilty for anything at the moment. :-)

I can't speak for others, but I continue to treat others in the way I want to be treated.
