As the myriad of responses before mine indicates, of course people care. However, there is a difference between the level of care I'm feeling (namely, the sympathy for those loved ones he left behind) and what his family and friends are no doubt feeling at this moment.

So I say this: that it is far more important to lead by example, and to teach our children well that life is meant to be lived, that killing is not a viable solution to problems, and that violence rarely - if ever - solves problems.

We all care, but this old world is so big we cannot dwell on everyone, the man no doubt had family, and God is there for all . There will always be 1 person who cares ! GOD !

Yes,i care, because i always say to my self that could have been my baby. I think that's sad, I wish that people would stop killing each other, but maybe it was his time to go and now he is in heaven or something.very thing happens for a reason, God has a plan for all of us maybe.

I find it odd that nobody pays any attention to all the people murdered in this country, yet they throw a fit when a soldier dies defending our lives and freedoms. Though a soldier dying is a horrible thing, Americans murdering Americans isn't?

Of course people care; there's no real outcry as it has become commonplace unfortunately.

it's mans failing society policies which is the cause of a lot of mess.
