I was wondering if there is a genie lamp or something similar in Sims 2 for computers like there was in the first Sims? If so could you tell me where I can find it in the catalog of items?

No, but if you have the Holiday pack, you can:
1. Get Santa to come by baking cookies
2. Throw a New Year's Eve Party and at Midnight, Father Time and a baby will show up.

Sorry, no genie lamps. That is only on the sims 1. You still can get one for the sims 2 for pc if you go to a fan site like modsims or placs like that you may be able to download one to fine fan sites go to thesims2.com and on the homepage scroll down and click view all and i recamend modsims. hope i helped

Nope, unfortunately no Genie lamp.
You can use the computers for find work, finding another place to live, games, chatting online with people, sending email and writing a novel.

Nope, the genie hasn't come out yet- probably because the Sims' lives are too chaotic already. :P After all they have to deal with other creatures like aliens, zombies, vampires and now robots. :D

There is no genie lamp that comes with the actual game
But someone may have created one
Try searching for it at www.modthesims2.com. If you DO find one let me know if you need any help downloading it.
