I love Seinfeld also..but I don't see how this is a physics question. The reason bad things happened to George Costanza is because Jerry's material is somewhat sadistic in nature and it is funny to poke fun at an unfortunate soul like George.

ahhh...I am completely addicted to Seinfeld *S* Actually, my interpretation of George is that he seems to be a victim of his own life. Then again, with dysfunctional parents like Frank and Estelle, we can understand where the character's neurosis comes from! I think Jason Alexander portrayed George to perfection!
