The war between the Palestinians and Israelis stopped being about truces and "what's best for all of us" a long time ago. They fight now because they are continuing an ages-long battle between their people. From each collective group's point of view, they are right and the other is wrong. I don't think either one should grant any kind of truce to the other. I think they should try their hardest to annihilate each other, and then we'll see who's better, because obviously that's how it's done these days. And then they should disguise it as forceful democracy.

I think the Israelis have illegally entered a sovereign nation militarily. They have no right to demand anything now.

Don't get me wrong, the Palestinian militants shouldn't have kidnapped the soldier, but what Israel did was wrong as well, and both should have to pay the consequences.
