Would you want seating or just a grass field for music? Would you want part of the Amphitheater to be covered? What ammenities would you like the campground to have? How far would you be willing to travel for camping and music? How long would you stay? What campgrounds do you really like and where are they? What amphitheaters do you really like and where are they? How cold is too cold for you to camp? How much would you be willing to pay for camping? How much would you be willing to pay for Music? Anything else you can think of?

Usually, camping-based entertainment is festival seating, since the attendees have ready access to their lawnchairs. I would suggest that you research this more thoroughly by looking into some currently-successful venues, rather than relying on a response or two you may get from a site such as this. Bonnaroo and The Hodag (which my parents are attending right now) are two that come to mind, which have a stable history of profitability.

I go camping for peace and quiet, I do not want an Amphitheater near a campground.
