It depends! Some people like to hear themselves talk (figuratively speaking, of course.) My first time on here I had a serious question and I was looking for opinions. Since then, I have found it a good pastime. Some questions are boring, some are stupid, and some are a waste of energy... It is as addictive as some tv shows, however. To me, the points don't matter.

Ultimately, to draw more users to Yahoo and increase their market presence through the creation of communal interest in a business enterprise much like mySpace, etc. If you use it, you will be more likely to use Yahoo. As a bonus, you can have questions answered that your closer community of friends/relatives/associates may not be able to.

to solicit answers or advices from those who are knowledgeable about the question of the asker. this is very useful esepcially when you cannot find the right answer from the search engines... an expert might come across with your question.. then that's it.. you'll get answers from them.. you get not ony one but several answers for your question.. giving you a wide range of choices for the best answer that you want.
