Yes, sure. As the saying goes, 'love thy neighbor'. But do we do so? Unfortunately, in the present world, what we see is nothing but spreading hatred! Does anyone care to think how much hatred people around the world have towards America today, especially after some of the totally unwarranted measures America has taken in the name of combating terrorism after the 9-11 disaster?
Answering Stephen Hawking's question, yes, the human race can and will definitely last more than 100 years. What goes up can come down, and it does. At frequent intervals, natural and human-caused disasters will step in to check the chaotic situation he has mentioned thus bringing back some balance for which our planet Earth seems to have some mysterious power!!

Hawking's question: "In a world that is in chaos politically, socially and environmentally, how can the human race sustain another 100 years?"
well, if God has already made a better place for us, why sustain longer? eventually we'll be turning to God for the greatest gift of all; His Love. and love is what we'll all ever want.

Heziyuguo thinks a problem to really resolve path to is the energy is infinite to turn!Politics, society, environment of confusion is because the mankind fight-is food.It is a resources for the energy. For existing openly fighting of the space.Fighting's ising because of they to control ability scope at the mankind is all limited now.
So, the mankind want to walk through to be next N or next 100 years, we should definitely a direction-infinite turn-the energy is infinite to turn &the material is infinite to turn. For mankind's present condition, the material is by all means infinite already, the energy is infinite to can be expected soon-clean energy:can control Hot nuclear reaction.
Let us conceive:in the coming 100 year, the mankind have an enough value, hot pit the reaction heap set up, pass an international cooperation will it the global scale turn. This will bring to near endless energy for us.The energy made use of this everlasting to the utmost &material, pass in the future a more mature nanotechnique
Aren't we "want breeze breeze, want rain rain" with ease?We will replace petroleum with the electric power etc. war the root of all evil, we can exert by everlasting of energy &material, make use of common material to reform an ideal material, is also say can make endless exert of food, each inch land in the world green. The that time mankind have already stopped using the whole petroleum etc. mineral energies,
The immediately stop overwhelming majority fight. The mankind owned infinite energy, need not be a food, resources again, existence space but bothersome. So also only have this mankind would also will solidify greatly by all means, end carry out international communist.Live for more fascinating 100 years, 1000 years....So want to walk through for next 100 years, should make great effort stable international situation, strengthen an international cooperation actively, developing strongly can control a hot pit reaction a technique, achieving the breakthrough that mankind century leap.Greet the mirth for next 100 years!

No! And I repeat, NO! Love is a "feeling", affectionate concern, but not an "answer", in and of itself, for anything. Love of "what"? One person loving which of the following "things" in chaos: Politics, Society, or the Environment? Be specific! Did you answer Dr. Hawking's question with the "love" thing, cause if you did I hope you were more specific, but anyway, you were wrong!

This is a rotten question. Love is not an operative. Love does nothing by and of itself. So what is the question as implied; "can mankind love one another and thus save the world?" Even that question is not tight enough: what could "save" the world mean?
If you would take world history as your guide, it does not appear to be a very probable thing that mankind (however you define that term) can or will "love" one another very long, much less for 100 years.
Would the ask-er please restate the question?

Yes and no. Human kind needs to get beyond the fighting somehow. You cannot win over people who insist on fighting. They also cannot win. The only way anybody wins is when the fighting stops. But stopping the fighting is not going to happen while we see eachother as enemies. We have to get to a point where we can see the other guys point of view. You could call that love, in a way.

It can. Will it, I certainly don't know. I do know that it is a great gift to cherish, a precious legacy to pass on, and the purest form of giving there is. All we can do is continue to try to pay it forward each and every day.

Yes, with love defined as unconditional and heart based, rather than sexual. Soul is sensed through the heart.
