I have spybot: search & destroy, Adaware SE, yahoo anti-spy & of course mcafee anti-virus on my XP system. My question to you is, that do I really need yahoo anti-spy ??

I was thinking of removing it, as I already have 2 anti-spy's & an anti-virus.
Thanks in advance

I recommend keeping at least two anti spyware programs. I have ad-aware and spybot and they have both caught things the other didn't. If yahoo is catching other programs the the other two didn't, keep it. Otherwise it probably isn't necessary.

I like Yahoo! anti-spy, and I use it daily. It's fast and easy.

Once a week I upgrade AdAware and run it. It picks up 15-20 "negligible objects" that slip through the Yahoo! program.

Between the two, I have no spyware problems.

Two are more than enough, but keeping yahoo! cannot hurt either. If you have a fast PC, this shouldn't be a problem and you should keep yahoo!.
