It's a radioactive, artifically created element (at least on earth) of the actinide series, with atomic number 98. It's similar to other metals in the actinide series (such as uranium), but fairly different from the stable metals.

It is extremely radioactive. So radioactive that it is difficult to do measurements on it. it has atomic number 98 and atomic weight 251. It has electronegativity 1.3 and belongs to the actinides, so it has similar properties to actinium, thorium, uranium, plutonium and americum.
