Down...

Downhill skiing
Downhill mountain bike riding

Going up the mountain sucks, but is neccessary.
Running up hill is far worse too!

Down is much better, why fight gravity!

Until you have to, to go back down of course! - can't have one without the other... (and who says which is way is up in the universe anyway?)

so really neither is better but nevermind that. Down all the Way!

If up is better than down, then down is only worse if down is not up in relation to what is really down. If down is worse than up then likewise have you, up is only better than down if down is not up in relation to what is really down. So up and down and down and up, and down and up and up and down. So it's all relative to whether you are up or down and then factor in the meaning of up and down and down and up. Substitute down (D) for up (U) and up (U) for down (D), then the same principle hold true. Down is relative to up is relative to down is relative to up.
