I love high school musical but I can't find any PLS TELL ME!!!

You can't get it free. The script is still copyrighted. In the US, that generally means it's protected by the copyright for the life of all authors plus 70 years. You can either pay for the script, or wait until everyone credited with writing it has died, then another 70 years, then you can get it free. And being that it belongs to Disney, and it's still quite new, you'll probably have a hard time getting the rights to perform it at all. I'm also guessing that the rights and royalties for it would be quite high. (How much they are depends on what the play is, who wrote it, how big your theatre is, when the performances are, how many performances, what company or person owns the rights to the play, etc.) Something like "High School Musical" which is new, popular, and owned by a major corporation? I'd expect a high price tag if they'd let your theatre group do it at all (and seriously, don't risk doing it without the rights. If the wrong person finds out, it can get your group into serious legal trouble).

You can go to www.disneychannel.com/highschoolmusical and you used to be able to order scripts from there, but that was a month or two ago...

they are releasing it to the school in fall if they want to do a show or something my school is doing it also. u have to wait until Fall
