Your question is sort of vague but I challenge authority when my gut tells me that the authority figure is not applying logic correctly.
Consider the military... your job as a soldier is to follow orders UNLESS that order violates the Constitution or the civil rights of others. For example, an officer cannot order you to overthrow the government of the United States or order you to kill civilians in the time of war.

It depends if you are challenging authority for a good reason or not. If it will hurt those around you are you sure you are doing the right thing?

When authority conflicts with your well being is usually the ideal time to challenge it. There is always risk in challenging authority. the outcome is, more often than not, less than positive for you and those around you. Without it though, America would not exist.

We Yahoo answerers are having hassle defining this notice because of the fact the author did no longer comprehend what it means. no person does. the 1st time each and each individual wrote that an author resonated with readers, it had slightly energy, yet now that's an empty notice that vulnerable writers use whilst they are able to't be troubled to think of, and including "powerfully" purely makes issues worse. It means some thing like that those readers comprehend him on an instinctive point.

You need to think if it is really worth it. I do not know the details, but I do not want to hurt the people I care about!
