ok chill babe. it takes a max of 6 weeks for a pimple to form, minimum of 2. So you need to keep cleansing your face for around 2-6 weeks and keep going for it to work.

Try using clean and clear, then following with a treatment like neutrogena that you can put on to help get rid of the pimples, then use a moisturiser like garnier pure A. ALWAYS use sun protection because your skin will be a bit more fragile from using acne products

a good diet is great. also try drinking 1.5-2.5 litres of water per day to detox. i overcame breakouts this way and my skin is so thankful for it!

and try to be in a clean environment, wash your face in the morning and night. always wash your pillow case every 2-3 days so sebum and oil doesnt build up on it

hope i helped!

Go to a dermatologist. That's there jobs and they can fix the problem now rather than later. I started to get acne in the 9th grade and I'm 22 now and I finally got it under control, so it could just take time. I still get one or two every now and then but nothing major. But today though, I use a face wash in the morning and then use a moisturizer and then when I get off work I use one of those pad things and I use one before I go to bed. If I have any pimples I'll put some benzoyl peroxide on about 10 minutes before I go to sleep...to give it time to dry. Oh yeah! Don't touch your face during the day!!!

Try not useing the Clean&Clear Face Cleanser every day. maybe one a week. Try a soap (with a PH of 5.5)and water to clean your face. Pat dry, gently rub a small amount of sudocream on the effected area, then dab a small amount of sudocream directly on the acne, best to do this at night i think. Next morning use a soft cloth to wash your face and apply a moisturiser. After 2/3 applications you should notice a big difference,

well what i do is wash my face twice a day, in the morning when i get up and at night when i shower. and i drink water throughout the day and nothing else. or you could get the oxyclean pads and use those twice a day as well, but the main thing is to drink water, stay away from sodas and drinks with lots of sugars. i mean i have my pink lemonade here and there but not all the time. if you don't like water then try water with a lemon or add a twist to it but a big twist. my face started to clear b4 my eyes. i would say in a couple of weeks.

Make sure you're not overwashing your face- if you strip all the oils from your face your skin will overcompensate and produce extra.

Acne can also be caused by stress or hormones. If it's stress you should try and balance that. Hormones you can't really do much about.

If you've got a zit try applying a small bit of a gel with salicylic acid. I recommend Clinique's acne solution spot treatment gel.

Don't worry about it too much, everyone gets some now and then.

Hi Carly,
Don't worry! Stress does not help. Do yoga and drink extra water. You might also try sitting in a steam room or sauna for 15 minutes a few times a week and massaging the sweat glands around your ears. If that doesn't help after a month or two, see a dermatologist, but first look for slow slow steady results, they are better than medication. Good luck!

Your condition may not even be acne, it could be something else altogether. I say talk to a dermatologist. Also, consider using a professional dermatological treatment for breakouts like Proactiv or Murad. I say Murad because it doesn't use benzoyl peroxide.

Good luck! GBU!

STOP,stop with the clean and clear. It's only alcohol, go get a professional product, starting with a facial is a great idea, they will be able to talk to you about your skin type and whats the best way to care for it.

u don't say how old u are. this could be a hormonal thing and no matter how many different products u use u cant get rid of them till they go but please do NOT pick at them cuz that will only lead to scaring. if its hormonal they will pass don't worry. if they are not it can be caused by dehydration. Ur skin can not produce water so it produces sebum to lubricate itself when dehydrated.drink plenty of water and use a non oily moisturizer. also try and exfoliate at least once a week. i hope this helps. :-)
