post up flyers, leave catalogs in beauty salons, public restrooms, go to www.vistaprint.com and get free business cards.

Have an AVON party. Have a friend to host and ask for referrals from customers always. Mention you are an AVON Indep. Rep on your voicemail. Never put anything in anyone's mailbox, that is a felony! Place flyers in their doors or get those book bags AVON has for their reps to place your book and samples in and hang them on doors. Utilize the websites. Put your new career title and website in the signature of all your email correspondences.

And Sample, Sample, Sample!

Hi! I too sell Avon, and I started by dropping off 10 books each campaign at a local Bingo Centre. Ask the manager/owner first. Some areas have laws against actively campaigning for customers. Also, if you know of anyone who lives in an apartment building, perhaps they can take a couple of your books and leave them in the laundry room. However, keep in mind it is possbile that the building may be on someone else's Avon list. Let the customers choose YOU!~

Check with your District Manager as well. She may have an area that is open.

first of all you will need to order the books on the back of the books put your name and phone number so a new customer can place an order also going ddoor to door helps they get to know you one on one personally a good busniess tip for you if a customer places an order with you let's say 100.00 or higher ask for a deposit on the order this way you don't get stuck with the order. also order samples and put them into the plastic avon bags with the book the samples introduce new customers to a sample of the product in the book.

My friend brings some to her local hair salon, grocery store, tanning salons, Dentists office. She gives some to her friends to bring to work. The nail salon, any place that has alot of customers. But make sure you get the owners promission first because they might throw your books out before anyone gets to see them. She didn't need permission from the grocery store, she just put them with all the other brocures. Good luck

You may want to place a few fliers on some boards around your town to start. Then you won't be stepping on others' "toes". Just an idea. Good luck in your new business!!!!!!!
