I have read all of her major novels and my favorite (maybe because of emotional ties) is still Pride and Prejudice. My second favorite is either Emma or the underrated Mansfield Park. But all of her novels are good (and Mark Twain did not know what he was talking about when it came to Jane Austen!!!)

Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, Emma. Although I loved the film Sense and Sensibility, I didn't care much of the novel.

They are all the same story!

"The absence of Jane Austen's novels alone would make a relatively good library out of an otherwise empty room." -- Mark Twain

Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion equaly.
All her other novels come after that, before all the other books I've read.

Persuasion, the story is the most mature. It's basically about being given a second chance.
