THEY MIGHT WIN IF THEY CAN GET PAST THE SPURS AND PHOENIX HOWEVER W/ BOTH THE SPURS AND PHOENIX NOW PLAYING SMALL BALL IT WILL BE PRETTY DIFFICULT,AND WHAT THEY NEED TO WIN IS DISIPLINE. THEY HAD IT IN THE WESTERN PLAYOFFS BUT LOST IT IN GAME 3 IN THE FINALS. SO THEY'RE RIGHT THERE JUST NEED TO KEEP POISED AND THEY WILL BE ALRIGHT

Well, the Mavs are a great team. Personally, i think they are a much better TEAM than the pistons. All they need is a better Shooting Guard. I had never even heard of their starting Shooting Guard this season. Once they get that, all they need to do is not depend on Dirk so much. He is a great player, put so is Jason Terry. The Mavs don't have to depend on Jason. He is just a guy to shoot it up every once in a while. After all of this, the Mavs will definently be in title contention.

They don't really need much to improve on to win a title. I think they will still definitely be a contender for the title next year. A deeper bench would give them help.

They need a bunch of guys who can slam dunk. That's the name of the game in the NBA these days. Character? Shooting? Defense? Those things no longer matter like they did during the days of Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Dominique Wilkins, et al.

Seems to me they got over the hump of beating the Spurs then made another hump trying to win the championship. I think it depends on what happens with the Spurs this off-season because stupidity is the only reason they won that series.

get rid of Jason terry he can't shoot. diop will develop into a dominate center. dirk is a given but he can't do it all himself unlike Wade who can and did. stackhouse is a good sg but without a good point to run the O you can't win a ring

They have a good chance because they know what it takes to get there. what they need to win on is taking advantage on two nothing lead.

They need expiereince some touch players dat wont be soft and nowisky cant choke
