In addition to burning files to cd, I figure I should upload files to these sites that give you x amount of memory for free. What site is safe, easy, and gives you enough storage space?

Provdes = 2 GB space
You can creat your own seperate folder for different categories of files. the folders are both capable of password protection or public view.
Mega upload and rapidshare really doesn't come even close to this. And oh ya , they also have no limit.

whichever one you chose make certain it's not a free one. free services are very unreliable.
