I think it's rather innovative.
Not only can you play old favorites, but you can also play the next gen. games.
The Wii-mote seems really interesting.
It also has a launch title of 'The Legend of Zelda' which is a series I very much enjoy.
It will also be the cheapest next gen. console by far.. and you don't need an HDTV to fully enjoy what it has to offer.
Of course, I want a PS3 and a 360 as well, and I will have them.
However, I think the Wii is the first system I'll buy, as I'm a college student, without an HDTV.

It may not be as powerful as the other next gen systems and may not have the best graphics, but I like it. The controller is very original but experimental. It can play any previous Nintendo game before the GameCube, and some that were on the GameCube. And for less than $250 you have to get one.

I hate the damn controller, if it hasn't changed since the last reviews i read. Wi-fi, for what, wireless kinda sucks really, the control sucks because of the limited amout of buttons and the whole sensor to play some games is a dumb idea. Nintendo is going down the drain, i use to love em, but i'm growing sick of them, i'll stick with my xbox 360 and my gaming PC thank you.
