Your PC is now infected with a virus/spyware. To stop this, go to start and run msconfig. This will bring up your start up options. Deselect everything in your Service and Startup tabs and reboot your PC - this stops the viruses from loading.
go to Limewire.com and download Norton anti virus - follow the instructions in the .tct file for installation - you cannot be connected to the web for this installation.
Do a full system scan and Norton will destroy all of the viruses and spyware. Reboot your PC and do another full system scan. After this run msconfig again and select everything in the Services and Startup tabs. This will load the rest of the viruses, reboot your PC - Norton will then find the rest of the viruses and destroy them.
Reboot your PC and reconnect your modem - you can now register Norton and be free of viruses nad spyware.
Do NOT load tool bars from adaware, spybot or anywhere else - these are products that put viruses and spyware on your PC to try and make you buy their product.

Best way is to use Firefox web browser. Enable pop up blockers. It also has a option that deletes recently visited websites.
In addition, use a small software like ATF Cleaner that erase quickly and completely any traces at all.
But in your case, you probably have spywares. Get rid of them using appropriate softwares (HiJackThis!, Adaware, Spybot, ...)

You are infected with a browser hijacker, you must run an antispyware program...such as...
http://www.superantispyware.com/
I found that the free version works excellent!
I have tried too many to list, and found this one works best. You should however have multiple spyware programs. What one misses the other will pick up. There is no magic bullet, so just to be safe run a different spyware program also, just in case...
