I'm throwing a birthday party for my little girl and I need some more ideas to make this party special.

Oh are you going to have so much fun! I loved having birthday parties for my babies.The biggest fun we had for our daughters when they turned one was to let them have their own small birthday cake.We stripped them down to their diaper and let them have at it...Of course this is more fun for the adults..lol..For the kids something simple like bubbles to blow or boxes to crawl through.At this age they have a short attention span.noise makers are also a good idea,of course this can drive you nuts...lol..I hope you have a wonderful day!Hope this helps.♥

Make two cakes. One for the birthday girl to get her hands into for the pics & one to serve.
1 yr olds aren't old enough yet to understand much of what's going on around them. Keep your party simple for her & cater to the adults & older children that will attend.

At one year old it's doubtful that the child will remember a whole lot. It's more important to concentrate on what will be memorable to you and the guests. A one year old will probably be satisfied with people paying attention to her and maybe something that tastes good like a little ice cream.

Dont bother putting too much effort into it. She wont have any idea of what is going on and she wont remember it anyway.

family get-together and cake. that's it!! they won't remember it anyway. Take plenty of pitures after all it is his/her first birthday.

It doesn't matter...the child won't remember anyway. Do something, but you don't have to spend a lot of money.
