Isn't vehicle VIN number a redundant statement?
VIN stands for vehicle identification number. So you say vehicle VIN implies that you are saying vehicle twice. I am not making fun of you. Everyone says it, I just wanted to point that out.

I agree with the first guy, that is where you will find the number.

Generally, they are located on the dashboard, close to the windshield. You will also find them on the frame of the drivers door side. Nowadays, they are also "hidden" by the car makers,so they can't be tampered with. You will have to call the dealer to find hidden spots.
