The only thing I can think of is maybe you let people take advantage of you...be assertive. Know what you want and go for it.

Do you mean that you are not in a relationship or that you feel truly alone in life? Do you have a close family and friends? Just know there is one who loves you more than you can imagine, and promises to never leave or forsake you- His name is Jesus. If you call on Him, and read His word- the Bible, you will see you are never alone. And by the way--God's love is patient and kind--so I don't believe there is anything wrong with your being kind! It is refreshing! If you are looking for a relationship, just keep being yourself...you need to be able to have someone love you for who you really are and when the time is right, you will meet them!

We have a friend that is the same way. He would never, ever say something bad, is always smiling, etc. I sometimes think people might not want to be around the nice person because they would have to act differently. I don't know. This person is over 40 and has never had a date.

i understand ppl tend too not want to hang around or take advantage of ppl tahta re to nice but dont change urs elf for otehr ppl just be yourself like the other girl said just be a little more assertive and more outspoken then slowly you will become a little more agrresive and ppl will respect you more

Either your alone or your not, do you want to be alone or are you actively seeking a partner or companion? There is no such thing as to nice, or to good, these sound like excuses or disinterested prospects!

don't try and change yourself but try to get a little edge. many people don't like to be with people who are to kind, nice, good, etc. because it makes them feel like bad people. also, there's nothing wrong with doing things wrong or having a little bit of an attitude.

perhaps you're too kind, too nice, too good at the expense of your well being. You deserve to be all of those things to yourself - first.
