I'm getting one soon and I don't know what exactly to expect. I've always wanted to have it done but the thought just scares the **** out of me. I know it's painful. I wanna know your experiences.

Please help!

Thanks!

it is painful, thats for sure but the pain goes away after about 10mins. But it's all well worth it. u never have to worry when u wear a bikini. If you are still worried, take an aspirin or paracetemol an hour before your appointment. The pain will be less intense. Have the waxer to dab on some baby powder on the area. It helps too.
There's no way to maintain it, you cannot control the growth of your hair, can you? Just keep going back to the salon every 5 weeks.

Never had a full brazilian but just had a bikini wax for the first time last month -- it was still painful even the following day. And it was still red the following day too, so allow time between wax and going out in a bathingsuit.

if you want to maintain it -- do NOT follow up with shaving, instead tweeze or return for another wax in 3-4 weeks. The next waxing will be less painful if you don't shave it again.

Maybe it is a little painful but the pain just lasts 3 seconds. And after that you feel beautiful, you are soft and silky and you want to wear bikini faster because you are proud of your skin.Don't be afraid:)
