is there a way to change your screename on messenger?

send an IM to your self
in the chat windows click on Actions menu
go to Contact Options
select Contact Details
and chang the name and nickname as u want

Yes! If its Yahoo Messenger your talking about! Go to Messenger and go down to Account Info and type in your password {because it will ask} and then go to Edit/Create Profiles. There you can create another screenname and you can make it your default. And delete your other one if you wish!
