This has too many answers. Which Egypt are we talking about. Historical Egypt? Fascinating stuff. Geographical Egypt? The Nile and the Sahara? Breathtaking. Cultural Egypt? A bit poor for my liking but extremely warm, gentle and noisy. Now to the other Egypt. I do not like the form of Government, not much freedom of anything, too much religion down on the street level, and an appalling bureaucracy. Don't get me wrong I love Egypt but I do have some reservations. Living in Egypt is rough for a European.

I love Egypt !
When I was a kid, I loved History of Egypt, with the pharaoh, pyramids, gods...
Now I'm still interested in that history, but I'd rather meet actual Egyptians.
I went in Egypt in March, with my boyfriend, and that was my best trip ever !
We spend 5 days in Cairo, where we meet very friendly people, we were the only 2 europeans in some aprt of Cairo, and that was nice to see that the Egyptians were so nice.
Then we'll went 4 days in the desert, and that was wonderful ! Beautiful landscapes, beautiful light at night with the full moon... And my boyfriend proposed to me on a dune, at sunset :)
So I love Egypt !!

I love Egypt, I think...ofcourse it would be great if I could go there and make sure, but with all of the trouble in the middle east, the way Americans are viewed, I would be terrified to get off a plane there, or even on one heading there for that matter. It's too bad really, I have always wanted to see in person how beautiful it is. I would love for my children to see the pyramids in person, maybe someday it will be safer, and we can go.

I don't love Egypt because I'm not from there. But it seems cool with a history that interests Westerners.

I love Egypt it's such a great country and the people there are extremely friendly i'd recommend everyone to go vacation there you get to experience and see wonderful things

love it. lived / worked there for 3.5 years in the '90s. Have a open mind, open heart. The people are warm, rich culture, wonderful places to travel. Can u imagine swimming beneath a small waterfall on the edge of an Oasis, in the middle of the desert?
