In my opinion I think the US does not want to apply a certain use of force that may involve the deaths of illegal immigrants all together. Since 9/11 America now realizes the threat of terrorism within the borders of its own country so the issue all together is pretty touchy until there is a better approach to the situation. It is understandable that many illegal immigrant who sneak into the US want a better opportunity but they must also understand that there is a process that must be undergone in order to become an American citizen. I believe that many Mexicans are taking advantage of the situation itself also stating that the American immigration process is unfair but, even if it was America cant have every Mexican or Canadian national trying to enter its borders illegally when they have a country of their own. Also America has the right to be unfair with its immigration policies just as any other country can or would. Citizens of Mexico must realize that if this America were Europe then crossing the borders illegally by the millions would not be happening. When more strict policies become into effect then they will know why. The key word to the term is illegal. If you commit an act that is deemed illegal then you have committed a crime. If you are not an American citizen or here on a Visa, passport, or Green Card then you dont belong in the US. At a time where border security is very crucial for the US, I would advise any illegal immigrant to go through the proper channels of becoming a citizen. As US policy becomes strict penalties may involve imprisonment, deportation, or even death.

stupid.illegals are highly needed,so while you and i sit our lazy butts infront of our pcs somebody is out there doing the jobs your punk *** wouldnot do.by the way they just here for the money.how many times have you turned on the 6 oclock news and see a mexican arrested for killing his girl friend,molestation or any serious crime NEVER.it is always some black african american or some white punk gone crazy.these are the real Illegals...so why don't you ship them across the border instead

Because some need them for slave labor and Congress refuses to do anything about it. It's their own fault!
Instead of hiring more border guards, they should be hiring people to go after the employers. They don't want to do that because they are good ole boys who donate!! Congress doesn't want to stop them is the bottom line!

My brother is a Border Patrol Supervisor in the Valley of Texas and the problem is not only in our borders...
It's all over the place!

Because so many corporations depend on the cheap labor. In Georgia, the carpet mills are almost completely staffed by them, and they even have special INS centers within the area. I think if our government really wanted to stop it, they would, but who do you think pays for their re-elections???
