Most glues must be allowed to cure. Depending on the glue, this may happen by different methods. Standard school glue cures by drying. If it stays in the bottle, it doesn't get enough air to dry out (unless someone leaves the cap open). Many industrial strength glues cure by having a chemical reaction when two components are mixed together, so they must be kept seperate until they are applied.
Another common use is "hot glue" that is simply melted, applied, then hardens again as it cools.

tremendous Glue reacts with the air as quickly because it has left the tube tube. The pipettes containing the glue, are filled even as the glue is extremely clean and liquid liquid. I worked in a Glue production facility for 4 years and ought to allow you to do not ignore that the aggregate is poisonous. status above the glue hopper filling it, is a job that makes the throat close and the eyes flow! The pipettes might want to be filled quick because in the adventure that they don't look sealed quick, the air starts to 'set' the glue and the packing containers are then ruined.

Because it needs to be exposed to a lot of air to start to dry. When it starts to dry is when it becomes hard. That's why sometimes old glue will dry up in the bottom of the tube or bottle.

because the air doesn't come in contact with the inside of the tube thus it doesn't dry out on the inside so easily. It will eventually if sitting around for a few years.
