Yes, however remember that everyone has a different idea of what "love" is. Thus, your idea to love again could mean to some that you never loved before. I believe that the word "love" is the most abused word in the English Language.

We have the ability as people to love more than 1 person, and thank goodness for that because if not then it would be possible that we would walk around life broken hearted. I've loved 5 guys in my life, and still do, but it doesnt stop my heart from loving anyone again

It becomes harder if you compare the new person in every way to the old person. Oh he/she doesn't like Meatloaf (the musician). Oh he/she doesn't like this certain deep movie that I loved about the other person. Oh I really liked the way so and so wore his/her pants. (I know these are superficial comparisons, but follow me here).

I think that if you take each relationship as something totally unique and special, that's how it can happen, loving again and again and again.

But nothing will compare to this one and nothing will compare to that one. If you judge them on the same scale, you may not be fair. Each one will feel and be different.

That's my experience (First true love passed away. Married now for 6 years with two beautiful kids. Still think of first love every single day. But truly love my wife and wouldn't change things if I could.)

I believe there are more than 1 right person for everyone in this world, so depending on if you are lucky enough to bump into this right person, you will then be able to love again. If not, then tough luck.

Because what we think is love really isnt (usually). Lust is mistaken for love a lot. Infatuation.

Sure it is possible to love again, but i dont believe most of us do it.

Yes it is possible, but being single, sometimes the only person I love is myself. Which still has not caused blindness, hairy palms but not blindness.

There is no such thing as one true love, there are many people you can be compatible with. You can love as often as you make yourself available and as often as you meet the right people.

It is possible to keep loving.

You will get calloused and find it harder to love the more you get hurt though.
